You may donate gold property in any form or condition, such as rings, necklaces, brooches, pins, findings, fillings, coins, and decorative objects of any karat type, 10K, 14K, or 18K. Sorry, we are only able to process gold or platinum. Please place the items in a ziplock bag and wrap them with plastic or paper so they won't shake or break open. Insert into a sturdy envelope and ensure it is securely packaged and sealed. Print your name and return address and remit by U.S. Postal Service to our secure address: E.G. Institute 1831 Solano Avenue, #7715 Berkeley, California, 94707 We recommend insuring the goods for their replacement value. The shipping date will be your donation date.

All donations received are considered final; Ethical Gold Institute will process no returns. We accept gold jewelry with diamonds/gems but cannot process any gemstones. Please remove any desired gems before donating, as we cannot return them. Ethical Gold Institute does not value or appraise any gemstones or collectibles. Any part of a donation that is not gold will be recycled or donated to other nonprofits. Please consider carefully before sending your property. By clicking "I agree," I have certified that I have the authority to make this donation. We will email your tax-deductible receipt within three weeks of receiving your gift. Ethical Gold will process your donation of property and remit 70% of the resulting funds to your designated beneficiary charity.
